How we created the Plan

A specific and detailed process was followed in the development of the Yr Wyddfa Plan with widespread consultation and engagement with stakeholders.

community drop-in sessions

In order to get a good understanding of the priority challenges and opportunities for the communities of the area, drop-in sessions were held at Llanberis, Waunfawr and Beddgelert. To view the report on the drop-in sessions click here

an open seminar

The Seminar brought together the local community and stakeholders to discuss how to capitalise on opportunities and manage challenges and issues appropriately. Around half of the 100 participants present at the seminar had already attended drop-in sessions in October, with the remainder taking part for the first time. The seminar allowed people to reflect on the Partnership and to explore ideas about the Partnership’s aims and remit which were raised at the drop-in sessions by local people, landowners/occupiers, user groups and other interested people.
